Registration for technology/industry focused Study Abroad programs from UW’s Global Innovation Exchange are now open for summer and early fall 2024! These curated programs give current and recent UW grad students insights on advanced technologies and the opportunity to gain an interdisciplinary perspective at a partner institution around the world.
Summer A 2024 offering:
- Taiwan: Semiconductor Industry Insights
- Learn the fundamentals of semiconductor design, manufacturing, application, and global supply chain implications from leading experts in academia and industry.

- Finland: Extended Reality Design
- Learn emerging skillsets in Augmented, Virtual, Mixed, and Extended Reality development and applications from many of the world’s leading companies in Helsinki, Finland. Explore the latest XR hardware and learn key design concepts and strategies to develop a successful AR/VR application.

- Denmark: Accelerated Innovation, Technology, and Biomaterials
- Participants will study sustainability and design, looking closely at the use of cutting-edge Danish “biomaterials” in addressing the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.
