Meet our speaker:
Dr. Terry Gray earned a PhD in computer science from UCLA, and as a senior technology manager, he spent much of his career at the intersection of technology and policy. After running the Center for Experimental Computer Science at UCLA and working at a Silicon Valley startup, Terry joined the University of Washington in 1988 as director of networks and distributed computing. When he retired in 2014, he was associate vice president for technology strategy and chief technology architect, as well as an affiliate professor in the computer science department at UW.All are welcome, free to attend.
