The 17th annual WSAS Symposium “AI for Washington State: Using Artificial Intelligence to explore, discover and understand” will be taking place next Wednesday, September 25, at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. The event is co-organized by UW ECE Professor Mari Ostendorf, Vice Provost for Research at the UW  and includes an outstanding lineup discussing how AI is being used to transform research. Mari will also be moderating a panel discussion specifically focused on using AI to explore, discover, and understand health and the life sciences in Washington State.

Registration is free for students and a virtual attendance option is available. Please note that registration for the event closes this Friday, September 20. The link to register and the program agenda can be found below for easy access.
