Each year UW ECE supports at least 10 students (undergrad and graduate) to attend the Women Engineers Rise (WE Rise) – [fka Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE)] by paying their conference registration fee of $25. The College of Engineering’s Women Engineers Rise (WE Rise) program is dedicated to supporting and advancing women and nonbinary students in STEM. This signature event is their biggest of the year, involving various presentations, workshops, networking opportunities, and a career/resource fair! Attendees include students from across the region and industry leaders such as Amazon, F-5, Boeing, and more.
- This year, the conference will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm hosted at UW Seattle in Alder Hall
- ECE sponsorship – If you would like to apply for ECE sponsorship for the WE Rise Conference 2025, please complete the following survey: WE Rise Conference 2025 – Application for ECE Support
- Please do not register on your own if you are applying for sponsorship, as we will register all 10 students to attend.
- Applicants must apply by Sunday, 2/23/25 and will be notified if they are selected for sponsorship by end of day on Monday, 2/24/25.
