Are you stressed out by your coursework, exams, or extracurriculars? Has it been difficult to find a sense of community and belonging in ECE or at UW? Do you find yourself comparing your own educational journey or accomplishments to those of your peers? If so, you’re not alone. And we want to help you navigate these challenges so that you feel a sense of balance and fulfillment throughout the rest of your time here.
This Wednesday, 2/26, the UW Counseling Center will come to present on some helpful strategies and tools that ECE students can use for managing stress, finding community, and minimizing self-comparison in our academic environment. This presentation is open to all students in the ECE department – undergraduate and graduate students are all encouraged to attend!
It will take place from 1-2 PM (on Wednesday, 2/26) in room ECE 269
Pizza, snacks, and beverages will be provided at the event!
If you are not able to make it in person, you can attend the presentation via Zoom using this link: https://washington.zoom.us/j/96746264985
We hope to see you there on Wednesday!
