This course offers an immersive exploration of the clean energy transition by exploring the social, technical, and environmental aspects of energy systems. Through hands-on projects and real-world case studies, students will examine how infrastructures like electricity grids both influence and are influenced by society and the environment. The course fosters critical thinking about the transition to low-carbon futures—who benefits, in what contexts, and what unseen relationships or challenges shape these changes. Students will gain practical skills to better understand and address the complex issues of sustainable energy.
