UW IEEE WIE (Women in Engineering) is starting up a peer mentorship program called EmpowerHer. It is aimed to connect women in UW’s ECE department and develop community among the undergraduate + graduate students.
Timeline:

Mentor application deadline: March 7th @ 11:00 AM

Mentor selection: rolling notifications

Mentee application deadline: March 14th @ 11:00 AM

EmpowerHer Kickoff: Apr 3rd

Mentor-Mentee meetings: Spring Quarter
Mentors and mentees will be matched by the IEEE WIE officer team based on common interests and goals for the mentorship.
We will have a kick-off event where you can get to know your mentor/mentee, then you can meet up with them to do various activities of your choosing such as to study, interview practice, or just chat!
