We’re excited to announce that the ECE Department is now accepting applications for partial funding to support a limited number of students attending the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) WE25 Conference, the world’s largest conference for women in engineering. We’d love for you to be part of this amazing opportunity.

Who Can Apply:
Undergraduate and graduate students of all identities are encouraged to apply.

What’s Covered:
Selected students will receive partial funding from the ECE Department, which includes:

  • Conference registration (approximately $200)
  • Airfare (up to $600)

Please note: Hotel, meals, and ground transportation costs are not covered and should be funded through other sources or personal funds.

If you have already applied for travel or registration funding through SWE or submitted a proposal to present, please be sure to mention this in your application.

Important Dates:

  • Application deadline: Thursday, August 7th by 5:00 PM (PT)
  • Notification of funding: Monday, August 18th

Please note: If you’re selected for funding, do not register for the conference on your own. The department will provide you with a registration code to use during the registration process.

Additionally, graduate students who receive funding may be asked to volunteer for up to 2 hours at the ECE booth to assist with recruitment efforts alongside our Graduate Advising Staff.
