The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) is hiring ECE tutors for the 26-27 academic year.
The ECE Tutor is a direct, student-facing position that provides one-on-one and/or small-group tutoring and mentoring in person. Expertise is focused on Electrical Engineering (E E) undergraduate coursework support. The ECE Tutor plays a role in promoting and developing academic support services and activities within the ECE department.
The job description is attached to this email, and here are some key position details:
- You must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or master’s student in the ECE department for the autumn 2026, winter 2027, and spring 2027 quarters.
- To be eligible to tutor a class, you must have earned a grade of 3.5 or higher in the class.
- We need tutors for our core classes and, ideally, other 300/400-level EE classes.
- The position is paid $23.78/hr (expected) and will work approximately 6 to 12 hours per week.
