The OWRC is delighted to invite any and all UW doctoral students to join our free Dissertation Writing Intensive this June 16th–18th, 2026. This multi-day event is designed to be flexible; writers are welcome to join for as much or as little as desired. Learn more and register here.

  • Roundtables on sustainable writing and decision-making in the dissertation process
  • An interactive webinar with UW librarians
  • A webinar featuring discussions and scholarship on generative AI
  • An in-person social hour (light refreshments, swag, and plant writing buddies available while supplies last!)
  • Opportunities to form independent writing groups
