The CELE Center’s Work-Study Tutors program is hiring for both graduate and undergraduate students, and we’d appreciate it if you could share with your students!
Please note that applicants must be eligible for federal work-study. 
(1) Work-Study Tutor (undergraduate & graduate student position)
Work-Study Tutors focus on reading or math skills with elementary, middle, or high school students and build strong relationships with youth in Seattle Public Schools by making a commitment to their tutoring site for Winter and Spring Quarter. Tutors support the Seattle Public Schools’ effort to promote educational equity for all students, with a focus on under-resourced schools.  
(2) Work-Study Tutoring Coordinator (graduate student position) 
The Work-Study Tutoring Coordinators (WSTC) will collaborate with CELE staff to run the Work-Study Tutors program through the CELE Center at UW. The WSTC will lead cohort meetings and trainings and serve as a mentor for the tutors. This role will not require you to participate in any direct tutoring. The WSTC will collaborate with CELE staff and students, the UW Work Study office, and Seattle Public Schools to expand the program.
