Our team of engineers, scientists, and operators work across satellite design, antenna development, silicon & FPGA, RF/modem systems, networking & software, production operations, and more.
STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES
We Are Looking for talented students with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Electromagnetics — antenna design, RF propagation, phased arrays, computational EM
• Digital Communications —modulation/demodulation, channel coding, link budgets
• Signal Processing — DSP algorithms, filtering, spectral analysis• Embedded Software — firmware, real-time systems, C/C++
• FPGA Development — RTL design, Verilog/VHDL, Xilinx/Vivado
What You’ll Do
• Work on hands-on projects that directly impact Amazon Leo’s satellite communication systems
• Collaborate across hardware, software, and operations teams
• Contribute to cutting-edge satellite, terminal, and ground infrastructure technology
Basic Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Coursework or project experience in one or more focus areas above
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on research or lab experience in EM, DSP, embedded systems, or FPGA design
• Experience with MATLAB, HFSS, CST, Vivado, or similar tools
