We are hosting an Aviation Safety Conference on October 1-2 in Renton (Hyatt next to the Boeing 737 factory) and would like to invite faculty and engineering students from the University of Washington to attend.  We have arranged to provide scholarships to cover the $450 conference fee, which includes breakfast and lunch each day, for the University of Washington Department of Engineering (up to 10 faculty and up to 50 total, including undergraduate and graduate students).
I graduated from the University of Washington in 1984 with a BS in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering.  I worked at Boeing from 1984-1995 and at the FAA in Seattle from 1995-2021.
Several of our speakers were also involved in the recent Netflix documentary “Freefall”, so that might interest you as well.
Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in.  We’d love to have the University of Washington attend.
