Effective for the Winter and Spring quarters of 2027, EE 571 Integrated Systems Capstone I (5 credits) and EE 573 Integrated Systems Capstone II (5 credits) will be combined into a single hyphenated course.

These two courses operate as one course across two quarters, meaning:

  • Students must complete 571 and 573 to earn the entire 10 credits. 

  • A grade for EE 571 in Winter Quarter will not be posted until EE 573 is completed in Spring Quarter. In the meantime, there would be an “N” notation as a replacement. The grades for EE 571 and EE 573 will be the same.

  • Students must successfully complete both EE 571 and EE 573 to complete the Capstone.
