Engineering Careers in Space: A Conversation with Stoke Space
Join engineers from Stoke Space, a Kent, Washington-based aerospace company developing fully and rapidly reusable rockets to expand access to space, for an evening of insight, inspiration, and connection with students from the University of Washington College of Engineering. Stoke Space’s mission is to unlock the space economy through innovative, reusable launch systems and cutting-edge engineering. [stokespace.com]
The event will begin with a 40-minute Stoke presentation followed by a panel discussion featuring engineers from a variety of technical disciplines who will share their career journeys, discuss the challenges of designing and building next-generation space systems, and offer advice for students preparing to enter the engineering workforce.
Following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive Q&A and networking session. Connect directly with industry professionals, ask questions about engineering careers and technical challenges, and learn what it’s like to work on technologies that are shaping the future of spaceflight.
