Community Connections – Our Biggest Event of the Year!
Day 1: Tuesday, October 27 from 3:30 – 4:45 p.m. PT, Zoom
Day 2: Wednesday, October 28 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. PT, wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ – Intellectual House, Seattle Campus
Community Connections is our signature welcome event for incoming and returning graduate students, and our biggest event of the year! It is designed to bring first-gen students and students from diverse perspectives and experiences together across disciplines. This is a welcoming space to meet peers, make new connections, and strengthen your sense of community.
On Day 1, students can tune into a Virtual Student Panel on Zoom. This space will be for our graduate students to learn tips, tricks, and recommendations for succeeding in graduate school from continuing students.
On Day 2, we will hold our In-Person Reception for all new and returning graduate students. Come as you are. Invite other graduate students from your department or come solo and enjoy the company of your fellow graduate community. There will be food, crafts, giveaways, a photobooth, and a dance floor!
