BLC Adv Science Tutor Flyer (26-27)
Position: Part-Time Advanced Science Tutor
Organization: Bellevue Learning Center (BLC)
Starting Pay: $23/hour
Location: 13122 NE 20th St. #300, Bellevue, WA 98005
Schedule: Flexible, with required weekly consistency. During the school year, hours are available:
- Monday-Friday: 4:00 PM-8:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:30 AM-5:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Teach Honors and AP Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and/or Environmental Science).
- Develop individualized curriculum for students.
- Conduct 90-minute one-on-one lessons, both in-person and remote.
- Potential for full-time summer work.
- Minimum commitment of 8 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Training provided.
- Experience with AP/IB/Honors coursework is a plus.
- Ability to teach additional subjects is a plus.
