Announcing UnitaryHACK, a two-week quantum hackathon taking place between May 29 and June 12 encouraging people to make contributions to the open source quantum ecosystem. Participants can win cash prizes for resolving issues. On June 11th we’ve reserved HUB 145 to create a space for a hack day, where students can team up and work on the issues together. We’ll provide food and perhaps kick it off with a talk or two (Sebastian and I were talking about that this afternoon!).
The hackathon is composed of projects from previous Unitary Fund micrograntee winners and open-source projects from various quantum companies, including IBM, Xanadu, Quantinuum, NVIDIA, and more. Participants tackle issues or “bounties” for cash prizes.
