I’m looking for a grader this quarter to help with grading Python (Jupyter Notebook) assignments for my class. The position is paid, fully remote, and requires just a few hours per week.

Eligible candidates must:

  1. Not be on a salaried appointment at UW
  2. Not be on a visa (since the course is at UWB, and hiring can get complicated)
  3. Have experience with Python

Course description: Computational methods for analyzing mathematical representations of physical processes that builds upon computer programming skills. Development of judgment for mathematical tool selection and identification of plausible but incorrect computational solutions and movement to correct solutions. Taught via in-class examples and programming with computational linear algebra utilized.
