The Student Technology Loan Program (STLP) is excited to announce the opening of a fourth location at the University of Washington in Seattle. On September 24th, STLP will open for the autumn quarter on the left side of the Information Desk located on the second floor of Odegaard Library (OUGL). This service point will be staffed between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

As a free service for students, STLP provides equal access to essential academic technology tools. The program, both funded and operated by students, enriches the UW student experience and facilitates academic success by enabling collaboration, creativity, innovation, and learning both inside and outside the classroom.

In OUGL, students will have access to an inventory of Apple iPad Air and MacBook Air devices for short-term loan. All equipment items at this location will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a loan period of five business days (approximately one week).

This new offering from STLP complements other second-floor technology resources such as the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) workstations in the Odegaard Learning Commons (OLC).
