Eligibility
<Program participants must meet all of the following conditions>
(a) Graduate students who will continue to study and/or get a degree at their home university after the program, or
Senior undergraduate students who will enroll in a graduate program at their home university after the program.
(b) Students who are able to enter and stay in Japan during the program period with visa waiver, or who are eligible to
get Japan’s short-term stay visa.
(c) Students who, upon completion of the program, return to their home university to continue their degree studies.
(d) Students who have a medical and accident insurance coverage during the program period in Japan.
<To qualify for a scholarship support**, all of the following conditions must also be fulfilled>
(e) Students who have minimum GPA of 3.1 out of 4.
(f) Students who are enrolled in the same degree program at their home university both when the program starts and
when it ends.
(g) Non-Japanese nationals.
(h) Students who are not employed by any company.
** Scholarship Support
Selected students are eligible to receive a scholarship (80,000 JPY/month for up to 3 months).
However, if they (will) receive any of the following money at the same time, this will not apply.
➤ Japanese Governmental Scholarship
➤ Scholarship more than 80,000 JPY/month awarded particularly to participate in JUACEP program
from OTHER organization.
➤ Salary for the working adult student.
